ISART’s Tech Game Art program prepares future 2D/3D Game Artists for the video game industry. Students acquire the skills of a versatile 2D-3D graphic artist able to work in each artistic specialty of a real-time 3D project.
They learn how to collaborate in real production conditions. In addition to exercising their creativity, they practice organizing and managing all the production stages of a video game project
Candidates must hold a high school diploma and pass the school’s admissions test: presentation of a portfolio, interview and written tests.
It is possible to enter the Tech Game Art program in 2nd or 3rd year.
The candidate is required to have a general knowledge of 3D creation concepts (or have followed a course equivalent to the one proposed in 3D Art for example).
The school has set up a fair and objective evaluation system:
The first year of the program is full-time so students can prepare for their entry into the industry with confidence.
From the second year on, courses are taught at a work-study pace, with mandatory validation of professional experience (internships, short contracts, etc.).
The Tech Game Art program leads to the RNCP Level 7 title “Expert in 2D/3D digital design” – Master’s degree.
This Master’s degree validates the acquisition of business skills (hard skills), social skills (soft skills) and professional integration.
The program also leads to the Canadian AEC :
